Graham Catherall

Graham was born in Connahs Quay, North Wales in 1949. It was whilst at school in Llandudno, after encouragement from a visiting lecturer, that Graham was first inspired to become a photographer.

After four years working as a darkroom technician in a Chester based photographic laboratory Graham secured a contract with a local provincial newspaper which launched his 30 year career as a leading press and PR photographer. Assignments included many Royal, Prime Ministerial and celebrity visits.

During a visit to Sydney, Australia to photograph his brothers wedding Graham and his wife Gwen took time to browse galleries and they were impressed by the stunning Australian panoramic photographs. On their return Graham and Gwen spent two years capturing some of the most beautiful landscapes of North Wales. Since that time Graham has exhibited widely to much acclaim and his work is held in major companies throughout North Wales.
